The Paris Motor Show (Le Mondial de L’Auto) reflects the innovative energy of its industry. But how many solutions have yet to be unveiled to innovate the mobility sector?
To uncover these solutions, a new edition of the startup innovation competition will be launched in July 2024, open to startups worldwide. The reward for those with the best solutions: A booth at the Paris Motor Show 2024 offering full exposure to the ecosystem, mentoring from experts, and a spot in an incubator.
A pressing need for transformation
The entire mobility ecosystem recognizes the need for serious transformation, not only as a growth driver but also as a response to new behaviors and the demands for energy sobriety and sustainable development.
The acceleration of innovation
The scale of these challenges and opportunities calls for all players to unite to identify innovative solutions.
Therefore, the Paris Motor Show 2024 management, in partnership with Mobilians, is launching a new call for startups. These solutions must reduce carbon footprints, improve road user safety, or rethink the logistics of deliveries.
These two organizations have launched an innovation program to discover concrete solutions that could revolutionize mobility, using the leader in innovation management, Agorize.
Serge Gachot, Director of the Paris Motor Show, emphasizes:
“Visitors primarily come to discover innovation.”
The Paris Motor Show management has once again partnered with Agorize to run this ambitious program. Using Agorize’s innovation platform and startup scouting, it was launched globally within just a few weeks. Agorize’s community of 10 million innovators is also mobilized to increase the program’s visibility.
Competition as a catalyst for innovation
Participants are invited to submit their solutions in four categories:
- Intelligent and sustainable vehicles
- Greener circular mobility for travelers
- Delivery vehicle logistics
- Innovative service offerings
This year’s jury is made up of prestigious experts:
- SERGE GACHOT, Directeur Mondial de l’Auto
- MARC MORTUREUX, Directeur général chez Plateforme, filière automobile et mobilités

The 12 finalists have the opportunity to become exhibitors at the Paris Motor Show 2024, an exceptional opportunity to present their solutions to the world’s leading automakers and the press! The winning companies also benefit from places in incubators, business networking, coaching and more.
From startup to market leader
In the previous edition, TOLV won the competition with its “retrofit” solution: electric conversion for commercial vehicles, earning a place in the Moove Lab incubator at Station F. These rewards greatly boosted TOLV’s development in France and internationally.
This year, TOVL returns to the Mondial de l’Auto as an exhibitor in Pavilion 4, a success story with the whole sector moving.
